Differance between 6100 and 6101

I am getting 3x 6100 from a fellow reefer this evening at a wonderful price. I was looking at MD for a comparison and see it is now a 6101.
So what is the differance between the 6100 and 6101?

6101 has the driver electronics built into the motor and uses a switchable laptop power supply instead of the transformer.

6100 =not controllable

Both are controllable, they are almost identical in every respect, a 6101 can act as both a 6000 and 6100 by changing a jumper and it just has fewer parts. Basically on the pro side the 6101 is neater (fewer components) and more adjustable (6000 and 6100 in one), on the con side the 6101 is more expensive to repair outside of warranty, one $180 part replaced 2 $90 parts.
