difference between palys and zoos?

just wondering what the difference between the two are thx.

palys are generally larger than zoas. I beleive there are some other difference like how palys expand over the sand but not sure.

I think I read that paly's actually use sand in making of their polyps and zoas do not,or was that a dream!:eek1:

I have read they use sand also. Palys like mentioned are generally bigger, but not always. I have one set that stays small.
