Can someone tell me the difference between a reef ready tank and a normal tank. Also the difference between tempered glass and non-tempered.

Thanks

Reef Ready Tank has the overflow build inside the tank less chance of flooding the floor. IMO

Tempered glass: Can not be drilled
Definition:
Toughened glass is used when strength, thermal resistance and safety are important considerations, such as in microwavable see-through cookware. Other forms of tempered glass are Borosilicate glass for baking by Pyrex and Arcuisine, ceramic-glass dinnerware by Corelle and Arcopal and bakeware and stovetop pots by Arcoflam. Within the home, tempered glass can be found in display case windows, shower doors, glass patio doors, glass dinnerware and drinking glasses. Tempered glass is also used to provide the glass top for a pinball machine. In commercial structures, tempered glass is used for unframed assemblies such as frameless doors, structurally loaded applications and any that would be dangerous in the case of a human impact

reef ready tank is usually a tank that has been drilled and has overflows and a regular tank is just tank. tempered glass mean it normally can't be drilled and non-tempered/ regular glass can. a lot of the time, depending on the manufacture, the bottom is usually tempered.
