Difference between tunze 7095 and 7096

7095, been out since 2006, uses buttons and knobs, no upgrades possible. Has one mode 7096 presently doesn't Interval 2, which idles one pump and pulses the other.

7096 came out in 2009, requires a USB connection to a Mac or PC for programming, software based so upgrades can be added and Interval 2 and 2 other modes will be added later this year. Also has storm mode and wavebox mode which the 7095 does not. Basically, it is cheaper and does more and will continue to be upgraded by software updates, unless you just hate computers, the 7096 is the way to go.

The 7096 only has to be connected to a computer while programming right? No need for constant connection? Also would tunze 6101s be compatible with it?
