Different Acans 1 Rock

I just got 2 acan frags and want to put them on the same rock on different sides. My question is when they meet in the middle will it be war or they will be fine? They aren't extremely different, ones purpleish the other is red. Any help is appreciated. :bounce2:

I have acans on top of acans (lords) and never have had an issue. I have 2 chalice meeting as well and they don't sting each other either.

Lords are fine together. I have three pieces that have all been in contact with one another at some point...

I have heard that Echinata can be a little more aggressive though... and I think the second pic you posted could be an echinata? Can you get a clearer picture?

Lords will actually fuse together. I have what used to be 6 separate frags that are now one giant colony that can be picked up and moved as needed. Only the frag on the far right in this photo is separate.

Not really sure exactly when it started, but I had them grouped together on the sand for over a year in my previous tank. I went to move them while doing some maintenance one day and found the skeletons had all fused together into one giant colony.

Do the GSP sting the acans or grow over them at all?

I peel off the GSP mat when it starts to encroach on the Acans.
