Different BTAs Touching?

I have a large RBTA in my tank. It's split twice before and the babies would stay close and be fine with the parent. Those were sold off, and now I am looking to get a GBTA to add to the tank.

Since they are not clones of each other, would they be ok if they touched each other? I thought so since they are the same species so in theory, same nematocyts and resistance to stings. Thanks!

They'll be fine. Normally you can even mix BTAs of different colors without incident.

You are fine unless something happens that makes one of them slime really bad. If that happens it will irritate the others and they will respond by also sliming and releasing their nematocysts as well.
