my optical sensor seems to stop working intermittently. It looks clean, and it actually shows that it is sensing water when it is dry. If I unplug then replug the sensor, than it immediately registers that it needs to top off and it refills the sump to the correct level.

Put it in an area where there is less reflection!

if you have this problem in the future again although it looks clean and there are no direct light sources then please contact your retailer
