Different Species of Clownfish

I'm wondering if two different species of Clownfish can coexist in a tank peacefully?

I bought a pair of Snowflake today and I want to get a pair of black saddlebacks also.

Thanks!

they can but i wouldnt recommend it i use to have a pair of gold bar maroons and a false perc pair together if the tank is big enough its possible

This is asked here almost every day. Briefly, no. Once in a while people manage it in very large tanks, but it's a gamble at best...and all bets are off once they reach sexual maturity. If you want to keep more than one pair of clowns, use it as an excuse to set up another tank. ;)

Not a good idea. Once they reach sexual maturity and get close to spawning you will more than likely be left with one pair of clowns.

It depends... How big is the tank?
I had a pair of A. percula, A. ocellaris and A. frenatus at he same time with no issues. I have a fairly large tank though. Currently I have a pair, or should I say two A. polymnus. They divorced suddenly! LOL! I hope they can sort their differences...
Still planning to get another pair, maybe A. perideraion or percula...

I had a pair of ocellaris that I picked up when another reefer was selling out. Didnt plan to buy since I was planning on adding two latezonatus clowns a few weeks later. I wnet ahead and tried the experiement. In the end the OC's were constantly harrassing the Latz until yesterday when I removed them to my sump. The Latz were protected in my BTA's but it just kept getting worse. The Latz were expensive so the OC had to go. I have a 240 so there is plenty of room but it wasn't meant to be.

I have a pair of maroons, Clarke , tomato, the black ones ( don't know what they r called ) added them all at the same time and they chose their spots n they refine had about 6 months in 125 no problems yet.

Six months isn't very long. Keep an eye on them. As they reach sexual maturity, they'll become more territorial and aggressive.
