Different stories for 6000's

I am getting tired of being a pest but I need to get this straightened out. I am getting different stories on these stream pumps. I went into my LFS tonight to ask about the streams. The guy tells me that I will have them by the end of next week. That means another 10-12 days. When he talked to Perry from Champion he said that they still did not have the pumps.

I was under the assumption that they were at Champion and just needed to be shipped to my LFS. The story that I am getting from my LFS is that the pumps have yet to come over from Germany and that I am 2 weeks away from seeing the streams. I placed my order on April 7th with my LFS if it does take till friday after next that will be just 3 days short of 2 months. Now I am a patient person but this is putting me over the edge. The different stories is what is really doing it. I am not saying you are feeding me a line. I think the line is coming from my LFS. I just need to know an approximate date that I can expect to see these pumps. The shipping time from champion to here is 2 days UPS ground.

Well, the pumps are here, I have more pumps in stock that need to be sent to Champion and when I called they said they were only 6 pumps behind and what I will send them tomorrow will take care of all orders. I specifically asked about your order and was told they had it in line and the pumps they had recieved friday would go to your order but they needed to get info from your LFS that had no prior account. I am very sorry for all the hassles. It shouldn't be like this but I am doing everything I can.

I understand completely I don't like being a butt, but....lol, I don't like all the stories I am getting from the folks in the middle of the deal. It is certainly not your fault you seem to be the only person that I can talk to that gives me a straight answer. I will have a talk with my LFS tomrrow and see what is going on. So I should expect to see the pumps by the mid to end of this week correct? If of course my LFS isn't giving me the complete run around.

My guy at the LFS told me that as of this morning Champion had no pumps and that they were not getting any this week. Grrrrrrr lies lies lies.

Thanks for being straight with me Roger I am certainly not angry with Tunze or you in particular. I wonder if this long wait is just a product of an inept local shop.

I may end up calling champion myself to see what is going on. Someone somewhere besides you has to know where my pumps are.

Thanks for looking into it there is only so much you can do on your end and I appreciate what you have done up to this point.

The problem is solved. I spoke with Perry at Champion and he said the pumps are there and my LFS was having a problem with payment. It was the LFS. They can't get their vendor information straight with Champion. When the LFS did get it straightened out they wanted to snail mail a check to Champion. I also learned that the first contact with Champion on April 1st and that the actual order was not placed until about 2 weeks ago.

Simply put I was lied to by my LFS. I am getting my money refunded by the LFS and I placed the order directly through Champion. The pumps will be here in 2 to 3 days. Boy that was simple.

Just wanted to let you know where the problem was at Roger. To all you other folks out there, please order through a reputable dealer and you will have none of these problems.

Sorry for the problems. Not all LFS's are this way so I wouldn't lump them all together. I am glad the problem is resolved.

I agree there are good LFS's out there I just ran into the wrong one. There are others in my area and I will do my business with them and online. I have had a number of great experiences with Premium Aquatics.

Guess Im lucky....my LFS had some 6100s this weekend...so of course i HAD to add one to the tank.....great buy@!

Cool, I think you are in the norm, not everyone has as bad an experience as I have.
