I need to get my bta to split in my tank, i have tried to point a power head at him, poke at him with a turkey baster a few times a day, and lastly i have fed him every night to everyother night and then stop feeding him all together for about 3 weeks. None of these have worked and i cannot take him out of the tank because his foot is DEEP in a crevas. He is soooo but that he has killed his fair share of corals because of this along with my oregon tort and my valaidia. Im not a very happy camper so please help me.

thanks in advance

It may be simplest to reaquascape your tank if you can. Relocate the rock it's in rather than try to convince it to move.

That's what I'm wondering as well.....

If it is causing havoc in your tank having it split is probably not the best thing to have happen since the split will likely have one move around.

i have reaquascaped the tank 3 times in the past 6 months and he has not moved from that crevis.
and if he splits he will be smaller and i can take the other one out of the tank and sell it. i only have a 65 gallon so space is of the essence.
