nem splits into 3 ways

my RBTA is living fine and expanding slowly to 5". Last night I rearranged landscape and the nem was experiencing higher flow.
This morning, I found it split into 3 pieces. First time I seen a 3-way split. Is it common?

I can’t say I’ve seen it. I have heard of it before. But that’s got some amazing color though. Looks like a very deep red

I've had it with one of my RBTAs. If they are really big & & close to splitting, and then experience extra stress it helps. It happened to mine when I let my phosphates get really high for example.

Agreed on that! Curious to see how it would look in actinics/blue LEDs.

the picture was digitally enhanced. the nem has normal color.

Maybe you injured it. Normally they split two ways. With injury than that is different.
Regardless 3 anemones from one is pretty cool. Feed them well and they grow can’t to 5+ inches quickly.
