Is this a good camera at a good price?


A Canon 10 MP Powershot SD900 ELPH for $359.54 ?

I have a couple 35 SLR's for my B&W work but I need an easy and reliable digital for taking pics of my hair algae collection !!!

I'm not really a fan of the picture quality on the elph cameras. For a comparably priced camera that is not much bigger, check out the The PowerShot A710 IS.

i have the 900... great cam for its size...

i cant convince myself to carry a larger cam like the a710... this elph is even a little large for me (i upgraded from the sd100 at christmas, which was smaller but far less advanced)

i use it mainly for P&S type stuff, tank pics, etc... When i want to take a really nice picture there is no substitute for my Canon EOS 7e SLR - sure its film, but whatever...
