digital thermometer

Can anyone recommend a digital thermometer with a temp alarm? I'd like to get one that I can program the temperature alarm for specific temps (if anyone even makes one that can do that). With it being the time of year when my A/C goes off and before the heat comes on, my temperatures are jumping all over the place. I'd guess that the reason they are jumping is because no air movement results in less evaporation, so even though air temps are down a little, my temps are actually running a little higher. If I can set the alarms, I can use them to monitor the fluctuations a little more closely and that will certainly make me feel better. TIA

I've used the rainbow lifeguard unit in the past brian. Not the small one, but the larger one with the alarm. The two i've had were durable and reliable (dropped one in the display one time, and it dried out and worked just fine). I bought them for the large digital readout though, i never used the alarm. You can easily see the display from across the room. They are a bit more pricey than most, but worth it imo. About $35.

Have you looked into temp controllers? Ranco makes a good one from what I've heard. I use my AC Jr. for temp control among other things.
