dilectus dottybacks?

I tried looking these guys up online, but couldnt find much (read: anything) that was helpful.

they seem to be exactly what I'm looking for; colorful, not too big, and can hold their own. my tank isnt peaceful (sixline wrasse, yellowtail damsel, falco hawk, YWG, tiny GSM clown) but neither is it aggressive (chasing is about it, and every gets along pretty well overall) and I don't want to dump someone in who will ruin the relative peace.

would one of these guys work? I'm planning to add two more fish to my current count of five before I call it quits stocking-wise, and it'd probably be this guy and a starry blenny. so... anyone have any experience with these guys?

The only dottyback I would consider adding to your set up would be an orchid. I had one, dilectus, years ago & all it did was eat my CUC & harass all of the other fish.

damn, I was fearing that might be the case. they have that super mean dottyback look to them.

I'd love an orchid, but I'm worried that they wont be able to cope with the aggression they'll receive when first added to the tank (generally, newcomers are harassed for a few days, then chased a few times, and after a week everything settles nicely). how do you think they'd cope with that?
