Dimenions of a Tunze Electronic Powerhead?

Just wondering what the dimensions of your powerheads are? 7300/2 to be exact, but I beleive they are all the same dimensions, just with different power transformers correct?

I checked on the tunze site (and here in the forum) and did not find anything other than the total height of the pump and/or the inlet screen.

I'm interested in using one in my JBJ 24DX and would like to know if it will fit behind the "false wall" of the tank to replace the stock powerhead. The "sump" area is about 3.25" wide, so the body of the pump would have to be less than 3.25" - if the output nozzle sticks out further than 3.25" that is not a problem, I can drill a hole for that.

Unfortunately they are 3.75 wide and about 4" tall not counting the strainer.

It might still work, I would just have to do some "adjustment" to the back wall to basically cut out a section to match the pump - but it's only plastic, so it shouldnt' be too difficult.

It appears that the body of the pump is somewhat rectangular, and then has a circular portion at the bottom where the impeller is - is it this circular portion that is 3.75" ?

Yes, it was actually just a hair shy of 3.75 and this doesn't count the outlet nozzle.
