That is a good day. You deserve to go out and buy something nice for your tank.

Yep, actually. Out of the blue my boss told me she knows I'm suffering from Spring Fever (especially since my husband's school district is on spring break this week), and that I can have tomorrow off. :)

Yes I was pulling the rear axles out of my 72 buick sportwagon and broke the rear axle pin screw . Didn't think I could get one today and was going through my desk and found one . Thats a lucky thing wasn't sure if I was getting home tonight or not .

we found a problem in one of my billing reports.
we've been billing every month about $10,000 less then we should have been.
lucky for me, it wasn't my fault. and i was able to fix it pretty easily.

sucks though cause my profit sharring bonuses for the last couple of months could have been a lot bigger...

Congrats on the day off!
Any chance your husband is an administator for his district AND in need of a science teacher?

Thanks for the tip! :D

We usually get there around 4:30 - 5:00, the ticket office opens at 5pm and the doors to upstairs open at 6pm. Yes it is a long wait but I've meet some nice people waiting in line. Kinda reminds me of the days we used to wait in line for concert tickets.

I need to get over there with you guys sometime. We had horses for 20 years so I can spot a lot and I've yet not to pick the horse that didn't get 1 or 2. Is that win/place or win/show. Watch out for the lighter colored horses if you look at them before the bet. Just as you look more cut/chiseled with a tan, so do they. I've only been to the track twice though but both times turned 50 into 500. But that's being conservative and betting win/place/show. Never took a pocketful of cash to really try and make money. Probably best not to just in case I'd be off that day. Now that I've said that I'll lose every penny next time.

wow..
if i walk away with my beers payed for by betting, i had a good night.
1st = win
2nd = place
3rd = show
