Yep dinos. :/. Siphon out what you can, feed and do a 3-day black out. Do not open to light for any reason.

I took me a couple times to get it all gone, I opened up for 2 days with a short photo period and went right back in. It worked well. Good luck in your battle.

I could be wrong, but I don't think it's dinos.

Dinos are like the reefing boogie man. Usually when you think it's dinos, typically it's just a regular nusiance algae that's starting to proliferate from a raising nutrient source. Either detritus accumulation, or free in the water column. The bubbles on top is not isolated to dinos. All forms of algae or bacteria give off some sort of gas as a waste product, so any algae can have bubbles.

The tank looks fairly new, but correct me if I'm wrong.

How long has the tank been up?
What rock did you use?
Did you presoak or "cook" the rock
Are you running any GFO or other form of nutrient export or carbon dosing?
What is the bio load?
How often do you feed?

My bet would be that it's just a simple nutrient issue from "new tank syndrome".

its about 3 months old i used dry rock just rinsed off no gfo right now just got the phosban reactor to run it 4 fish small 10
hermits and about 10 snails i know they really dont count on the bio load i was feeding one cube a day i cut it to half a cube evryday and i try to only have the lights on about 2 hours a day right now during this
