Dip all corals?

I just got two new corals, a Fiji leather and a Favia.
I have never dipped corals but I was planning on starting, I have some lugols, would this be ok to use on these two corals?

yes i dip everything. i use tropic marin pro coral cure...affectionately known around here as TMPCC. i also use lugols iodine (kent brand).

couple pumps and a few drops in 200ml of tank water (i use a pyrex measuring cup) , soak frags for 15 minutes, and your done.

I would also look the coral over very good and pick any little hitch hickers off with a pair of tweezers. There are some nasty little criters that can live through the dip.

Do you acclimate first, then dip?

I dose right inside the bag while acclimating. Lugol's and flatworm exit together. Seems to work fine.
