dip for new bubble?

I just picked up a new green bubble coral today and noticed a few tears in the tissue from shipping and bagging today after I got it home and it was deflated. It just came in to the LFS yesterday. It was very inflated and looked great in the store so I didn't notice the cuts from the skeleton. I ussually dip everything before it goes in the tank with seachems reef dip which I think is mostly iodine. Also what about flat worm exit? I also like to dip new things with this. Should I dip it with open wounds or will this stress it more? Thanks for any help!

You also might feeding it after its settled into your tank. That will give it what it needs to grow and heal.
