Dipping mail order SPS

I have some SPS frags arriving this morning. The first mail order frags I've purchased since I began dipping bayer.

Since mail order corals arrive sort of stressed, do you do anything different dipping wise? I always dipped my mail order immediately in revive with no issues.

I Bayer dip my new arrivals the same way if they come shipped or LFS with no negative results.
Just curious but where did you buy ur new frags from?

i temperature acclimate first, then I fill a 3-5 gallon bucket with roughly 80 degree water, then I float my Tupperware container with the frags on top that water column in the bucket while treating with Bayer for 10 minutes. Keeps the temperature consistent so they don't get too cold.

temp acclimate in the bags in a dark tank or sump. Then dip like normal. I use my tank water and don't use any water from the bags.

Agreed with above routine. I would definitely temp acclimate the bags first by floating as they can often come in quite different then your tank water. After a 30 min float I dip and place in the tank.

Thanks guys. Temp acclimation is something I always do anyway. Just wasn't sure how much Bayer would stress already stressed corals.

Frags are coming from Cultivated Reef. I'll report how they look when the box arrives. CR has been great to deal with.
