DirectLED Par38 Coverage question

Would two of these http://www.rapidled.com/12-led-par38-bulb-mixed-color/ at 10 inches off the surface of the water with the 80 degree lens would work to grow softies and maybe some LPS in a 90 with a 3 inch sandbed? 4 I am sure would be enough but I am on a really tight budget.

I think this is a reasonable solution. You may need to do some careful placement on a few corals depending on what you choose, to get enough focused light. On the other hand it will offer you the ability to have some light gradient in your tank, which is neat if it's the look you are going for.

It does, I kinda figured that I could do coral placment based upon need, higher light corals directly under the bulbs, while zoas, shrooms, leathers and other softies could pretty much grow anywhere. Please keep coming with the thoughts.
