I just noticed that a small colony (5 large polyps) of zoanthids disappeared overnight. I haven't seen any predators in the system although a couple of other colonies haven't opened up for a while. I've got two peppermint shrimp (heard they can aquire a taste for zoos). The fish are small gobies, a percula, and a female solar wrasse.
-Would nudis be able to wipe out five large polyps in a few hours?
-If they are the culprits, can I dose the tank with flatworm exit to kill them? I know of at least one person who has successfully done this. Pulling out individual colonies would be a royal pain since they are dispersed throughout the tank and they are growing on the rocks.
-I can't think of anything in my system that could do this except for the peps, or possibly nudis.
Any advice is appreciated,
Mike
