I just performed the first 20g water change, and I'm making up new water for another 20g water change that I'll do either tomorrow or Monday.

Fish, inverts, clam, zoanthids, candycane coral, and lobo brain appear all to be doing ok. SPS bleached out pretty good... except for Blue millie which has been growing like a weed is pretty pale blue right now; the pink birdnest that I grew out from a single "twig" to a huge ball that's at least six inches in diameter is VERY pale; the monti digi's are extremely pale as well.

Just a few before this disaster I was just telling myself how happy I was how everything was really looking, and perhaps I should really get serious about fragging some of these corals too

Lonnie I am so sorry to hear of your troubles. I have had a brown tinged crusty residue on the sides of my make up water container. it hads never been a problem but it is sometimes connected to a very low Alk. for me. If there is anything I can do just ask.

Further Updates: The hammer coral is starting to show some signs of recovery. It had become extremely withdrawn since the incident.

The purple gorgonian looks like it will be ok.

Oh, usual biblical stuff, fire, brimstone, dogs sleeping with cats...

I just lost 90% of my animals in a move. Not too disasterous, but I am recouping and have had many people send me replacement animals already.

Plus, Les has been a lifesaver holding my animals for me and nursing them back to health. Speaking of which, I have to get my butt over there!

We just lost our dog about a month ago. I'm still in that "I'm not getting another dog" frame of mind, so thanks, but no thanks.
