Just as the rain started and fireworks finale started, I recieved a call that my 180 corner tank has split a seam. The tank is in Rimrock by Sedona. Emegency repairs are underway to stop flood.

As I wait for my new 210 to show up, I just threw up in my mouth a little...

Sorry man! Let us know how it turns out.

I am so sorry!

Any idea why it failed? Was it old? Not level? This kind of thing scares the crap out of me. I am sorry you have to go through it.

Baja - let me know if we can help you out at all. We could bring fresh saltwater up for you or something. Dont be afraid to ask!!!

shoot me a pm

Not sure how I can help, I'll keep an eye on the posts and chime in if you guys need something I can help with.

It sucks when bad things happen to good people.

Just got back on and saw this. Man sorry to hear that. If you need some corals babysat I can take a few. The prop tank will hopefully be up this weekend.

I've been there.........

Let me know if you need me to come down. I took the next few days off from work. You got my # so give me a call.

well I didn't see this post, but I did post in the other, the offer stands just let me know if you need holding tanks... I've got one that is just lying around and a 90g that you can use that is just sitting for storage for me

I am contacting Salamander this morning. It is only one tank out of many so I have options. I have many extra tanks. All I have to do is keep the breakers from tripping and keep the air conditioning running to keep the disaster from spreading . Not a trivial task. Big problem is water on floor if left to long could cause floor to fail. Hope I have the stands over the floor joist like I think I do.

For those of you following this thread, I am in Wisconsin having attended the coral conference so I am 2 days away from the house. Phx and Flag and my one knowledgable neighbor are the only reasources I have to manage this till I get back. I must have needed a water change real bad in that system.

Sorry to read this Richard. I hope that everything can hold a steady course till you return. What a bummer.

Read the other thread.........maybe some of those strappy things around the top to help brace it.
