Disc coral trying to heal?

I've been keeping this disc coral for 3 years and i can say that it has been through some serious phosphate problems and almost died.Putting my tank back to accaptable parameters range brought it back i beleive.I can see some tentacles out that i have forgotten for a year.Its color is much way better if i dont count the dead side on the left.I wonder if i should cut the dead part away or wait until it heals?

leave it alone. it will probably produce babies on the dead side.
