Disc Golf anyone?

I was wondering if any of the other GIRS members disc golf? I took it up this spring and love the sport anyone else play?

What is your favorite courses up there?

I get in at least 1-2 rounds on the weekends. Fun to play. Not a huge surprise but I'm can turn in a lower score with disc golf instead of regular golf. :lol:

theres a couple of cources here. there is one called island park and thats the one that I go to the most.

long view in RI is the most up and down, though I like Milians park a lot...

I play around 8-10 rounds a week now if the wrist is ever up to it Matt.

Met some guy on Eastern today that played Camden, Longview, Proscept, Devil's Glen, Middle, and Eastern in the same day!

102 holes of golf I think my arm would fall off.

I play around Des Moines fairly often - was doing it about 2-4 times a week this spring, but I've been travelling a lot lately so not playing as much.

AND EXPENSIVE!!!! LOL

I used to play a ton. I currently only get out a few times a month. Eastern is great if you have a long drive, but Camden is my favorite.

You can go play beer rounds but pro disc golfs are as just as far ahead of the chuckers as the pro ball golfers.

You can make any hobby expensive...

I have only bought 2 discs in my disc golf career, I currently own 15 disc.... It is much more rewarding to look for disc that golf balls. Ball $2-$5 Disc $12-$30
