Found this today which I've never seen before in the tank.

Looks like a cowrie shell. Usually their mantle covers the shell. Can't tell from the pic if it is alive or not.

Thanks for that, it is what you say, and is alive, not moved much but has definitely moved.

Money cowrie (Monetaria moneta). One of the few truly herbivorous cowries

Noticed a slight change In appearance today.

I'm assuming they don't move round much

That's the mantle that they extend over the shell, usually when they're on the move. You're one lucky duck to get that critter as a hitch hiker, they're truly great algae eaters
