Looks like Lymphocystis (cauliflower disease) to me. Maybe a shot from a different angle will help. If it is cauliflower disease, just leave it. It actually looks worse than it really is. The fish probably doesn't even feel it.
 
well whatever it is I think it may end up killing the fish. I looked at him today and it is actualy getting bigger, and spreading to other parts of the body.

If anyone has any advice please help me.

oh and the other fish in the tank dont seem to be affected by whatever it is.
 
It almost looks like an Isopod and possibly another on the other side by the ventral fin.

More detailed pictures and more angles would be required.

Looks like significant internal issues potentially as well, as in internal bleeding.
