Is there a setting to control the brightness of the display and if not, can I suggest it for a future firmware. Mine it out in the open and the brightness is making it tempting to put some black tape over it when watching TV.

Well, one of you is telling lies.

Gaffa-tape it is then.
Not really, what Michael ment is that there is plan to have that control in the new version of profilux, not that the current one can.....

There is but will have to ask GHL if I can share this with the forum

OK, my understanding of "There is" is obviously wrong. I thought the paragraph implied there was a way to do it but it was a secret. Silly me.

See what you've done is insert extra words. That's cheating. And I don't see how you have any authority on what other people mean when they type messages. It is not you I'm questioning.

Wow, please cut the attitude on our forum, maybe accepted on the UR forum in the UK but sorry not here.

Lorin (Kidney514) has authority on our forum as the GHL tech specialist.

Question me all you like but by email sales@aqua-digital.com

You have been provided with the answer to your question so lets leave it at that ;)

Perhaps GHL staff could read their messages before clicking Submit. Your customers will read things into badly worded english that could potentially disappoint them and feel they are getting a poor service.

They should also consider displaying that they are connected to the company in some way and not assume people would know this information without any evidence to the fact - thus avoiding such situations where a customer feels they are receiving replies from overenthusiastic forum members with no knowledge.

It would also be good practice to avoid accusing your customers of having a bad attitude in such circumstances when they are wholly at fault.

It is unprofessional.

Hi,

I am actually born and bred English so there are no issues with the use of my Native lanuguage. I was the one that originally brought ProfiLux to the UK before passing it over to Reef Dreams.

This is detracting from the original question that has been answered in full so If you have further issues with the way this forum is managed please feel free to email us.
