i recently have noticed some of my zoas disapearing off my frags.the only thing i can think of is that i added 2 sea urchins, a long spine and a holloween which have been walking over the frags, isit possible they are eating them or do zoas jump off the frags when bothered only to be lost among my rocks and sand?mixed reef tank.alot of cuc

They could be sticking to the urchins if they move past them. Something like a goby could also be using them for their burrow. If they are freshly cut and not attached the frag plug they will blow away in moderate flow. A few possibilities.

not glued, everything was fine until the urchins started walking over my frags,my tank is sps dominated and therefore ultra low phoshates etc, i have noticed that these zoas never grew much in my tank, palys seem o do better, but the zoas which were high end ,very small,(my clementines)seem to have either been eaten or jumped off the frag plugs

did they grow on the frags? how were they attached to it?

Z's and P's can live in SPS dominated tanks is UL nutrients. What fish do you have Tangs ( purple/blue etc ) Rabbit fish? Angels?

I had a long spine urchin that started eating polyps.

I got it the size of a ping pong ball and two years later it was the size of a softball and started eat all my polyps. I took it back to my LFS, all is good now.

I dun mess with Urchins closest unrchins I dealt with was tuxedo's and it was a pain as they start moving frags all over the place.

Pretty sure your urchin is the culprit. I've seen them eat mushrooms before, why not some others.
