Dissapointed in color. Lighting question.

I see people take pics of there tanks and there color is amazing. Im currently running two 250w 20,000k MH's with no additional lighting. I would not mind adding some VHO's, say maby two sets of two bulbs. Any suggestions to get more vibrant colors?

Its crazy how much lights vary. /sigh

Guess I just gotta spend untold amounts of money I don't have on different bulbs until I find the combo that I like most.

Different color temperature bulbs make a big difference. 20k's typically are more blue-ish. If you want more white light go towards the 10k bulbs.
Can you be more specific about what you don't like about your lights?

If by color you're referring to the lighting, I agree with the above post.

If you're referring to the color of the coral (e.g. SPS, LPS etc) then there are other considerations.

Please be specific.
