I have tried to get involved on this forum, and i am getting 0 replys to my threads. Im trying to start this hobby but nead some serious amount of advice. Is anyone out their?
You might be asking too many questions on a single post or questions that require a lot of resarch or quite some time to answer. Just note that if the questions are very very basic most people expect you to do some research first as it is almost imposible to give you a full and adequate training or fully design a system for you via posts and threads.
Try getting some books that can give you all the basics, then during your own design phase you can make more specific and narrow questions.
Try to make specific rather than generic questions.
A question like: How do I setup an Aquarium system or What should I put in my aquarium are so generic and have so many different variations that not many people would like to answer or the answer will not be what you are looking for.
There are some books I usually recommend the most to have you started with the right foot.:
Look for
"The Reef Aquarium" by JC Delbeek and J Sprung Volume3
Another good one is the
"Book of Coral Propagation" Volume 1 by Anthony Calfo
Finally try to find:
"The Conscientious Marine Aquarist" By Robert M. Fenner
