distance bewtween vortechs

is there a minmun distance between vortechs next to each other?

Hi ganjero,

We haven't found any problems with having pumps as close as about 3" away. Too much closer and they won't be able to breath properly so the flow could be affected.

Did you change your recommendation? I asked the same question on 1/30 and you recommended 6 inches.

You're right and I'm sorry for confusing you. This is not something that is particularly simple to quantify so I'm just going off the cuff on this one. How's 3-6"? You mileage may vary as it really depends on pump speed, the more flow you are moving the further away you'll want them.
