Divers Den Email

I know that a lot of people ask when stuff is available or going to be available. A lot of times you tell them to sign up for the Divers Den email. The only thing though is that a lot of times you update the Divers Den before the email is sent out. Wouldn't it make more sense to send out the email before the update goes through. That way people know to look at a certain time.

Thank you for contacting us. Our updates are loaded at the exact same time the emails go out. Once we have finished preloading all the new items we are able to click one button that loads the items and generates the email. We apologize for any inconvenience.

In addition to what Stacie’s explained I will try and elaborate further. I think some of the confusion lies in the timing of when we change the Thumbnail images on the Divers Den category page. This page that is in the link below shows a representative picture or thumbnail for each category in the Divers Den and is what we call the Category Page.
Divers Den Category Page
These images change daily to reflect one new animal from each category that will be updated that evening. The Thumbnail images normally change 10-30 minutes prior to us sending out the email alert, while simultaneously activating live the new Divers Den animals in each category.
