Diver's Den & Live Aquaria

I have ordered fish from both DD and LA and never had a problem that wasn't taken care of immediately by their customer service. The big advantage with DD is that it is WYSIWYG. You pay more but its great if you are looking for a "special" fish. If your looking for basic fish there is nothing wrong with LA. You can also combine DD and LA orders to go towards free shipping if you want.

PS: I QT no matter were the fish comes from.

You're right on the QT. But, I don't think you can combine LA & DD orders to get the free shipping. They originate from two states; the last time I asked, they did not combine orders. It would be cost-prohibitive, I assume.

They do combine them both, I have done it many times.

You can definitely combine. I've done it several times myself. LA is one of the few online retailers I trust. I've only had a few issues over the years, and those issues were quickly resolved. The customer service is first rate for sure.

I guess they changed again. The DD site seems to say that combined orders are $19.95 extra. When I had to re-stock after Katrina and moving; they had 2 separate charges. I live way out in the boonies and a few of us, miles from each other, have developed a consortium. We meet at the Fed-Ex site, divide our fish, then ignore each other until next time. In any case, fed-Ex charges are less than i'd spend driving to any decent LFS (without even knowing what they have) and I live in a high sales tax state, that's a serious saving.

All of this drivel, but this is one of a few areas where I just don't worry about cost; but will still ***** when the price of my favorite gin goes up $5 a case.

DD and LA will combine the orders towards the free shipping. If your under the free shipping amount there are separate shipping charges.

I feel the same. Deal with either DD or LA. Both are excellent and you can't do any better imo.
