Diver's Den magnifica gone is less than 5 seconds!

Can't believe it! I have been refreshing the DD inverts page every couple of seconds since 3:00 but still didn't even see the new mag!
In the time it took me to refresh the invert page, it went from the old stock to the new stock, but with no mag listed . I thought maybe they didn't list it afterall, but when checking my email alert and clicking on the mag's link, sure enough, it was sold! Fortunately for me, it was a purple based specimen, which I already have, and not my coveted red based.
It had to have taken less than 5 seconds for the page to refresh!
Someone out there is a very fast draw!

Well, it sure ain't bleached. I'd be very careful when acclimating it to your lights. The pic makes it look very dark, but that may just be lighting???? If it is really that dark, it may be very sensitive to bright, or long duration lighting.
Good luck.

DD has been posting some super nice specimens as of late... They sell wicked fast too... ;)

Nice acquisition dbraun15!!!
Keep us posted for sure...

I bought the same one from DD a month or two ago. If you have any questions feel free to ask me.. I also just posted some pics down the page titled "patience pays off" acclimate it SUPER long, float it and drip it for triple what your used to. I also put it under 40 watts of PC lighting after 4 hours of acclimation with very very little to no flow , i then placed it in my tank during my night cycle of lights so it didnt get blasted off the bat with lighting then it went into the darkness( i also have LED's) by the next day it was attached and i resumed my flow and lighting back to normal. They sold mine to me at 5 1/4 inch.. my nem right now only after a month or two is easily stretched out to over 13" so make sure you give it plenty of space to sway, IMO if these things are happy they REALLY stretch out..Good luck with him.. They are a very beutiful dark purrple with white tips!!

Great Advice, Thank you!

DD usually gets to my place around 5PM, so i will drip it for 3-4 hours and then place into the tank as the lights are dimming down and lower the flow.

I'm looking forward to getting him in!

I would have had it held at your local FedEx location for customer pick up. I'll bet the nem is at your local facility by 7 or 8 AM. Otherwise, it's going to be in a hot truck all day long and like you said, wont be delivered until late afternoon.
We are looking at record high temps around the Midwest and South tomorrow and Thursday, approaching an actual 103 degrees, not including the heat index! I feel sorry for any livestock being shipped this week during the day.
I hope the nem survives shipment.

I am fortunate that my FedEx guy is aware of what it is and always makes it a point to put my orders in his cab with him (perhaps I order to much from LADD):)

That and I tip him with Random Gift cards!!

Find a good Fed Ex driver, he is worth his weight in gold!!!

Hot weather??? Just a normal July in Southern Louisiana......
