Diver's Den Plz Stop it

How do shipping charges accrue if you place an order with an item from the Diver's Den and other items from the regular inventory? Are they shipped from different locations? Is the shipping fee increased if so?

Thank you for your post in regards to our shipping costs. We will be happy to explain them to you. Our Live Aquaria and Diver Den items are shipped from separate locations and will generate two invoices and tracking numbers. As a convenience to our customers we have made the conscious decision to charge shipping as if they were coming from the same facilities. When you order fish and/or coral from Diver’s Den and Live Aquaria you will only be charged one shipping charge. Our Live Item shipping charges for an order up to $224.99 is $34.99 and when placing an order for $225.00 and up the shipping cost is $39.99. All of our Live Specimens are shipped One-Day Federal Express with high quality shipping materials. We are always here for you to place an order or answer any questions.

Thank you for your suggestions and feedback. We are continually looking for ways to improve our website and we do encourage recommendations from our customers. We do have plans in the works to have an email notification system in place so that our customers can sign up to be notified when the new species are added to the site.

I 100% agree with Ihoy. If they send you an email that they have 1 fish, it is just as likely to be gone as if they didn't! Maybe even more likely! Furthermore, if you are looking for a fish, check the divers den page. If you are checking your email, why not just check the page? The email inventory works for the other livestock because it is more than just one fish. In divers den, it is only one animal.

I dont have time to check it every hour. But my mail gives me a ding for new arrivals. For them to carry out such an automated task shouldnt take their web person more then 20 minutes to create.

See here's where some have issue. The purple anemone pic is still up in the diver's den area. Yet the only DD inverts you have are 3 mantis shrimp.

Thank you for your inquiry. As Kevin explained earlier in this forum the items are updated daily on Diver’s Den. The thumbnails are changed when updated items are placed under that category. The Purple Anemone you spoke of was on our site Friday December 1st and was purchased over the weekend. Yesterday that picture was not updated because we did not have any new items to list under that category. Today a new item was added so that thumbnail was updated with a new picture. We hope that by explaining our procedures it will increase your understanding of why a thumbnail may remain on our site after the item is purchased.
