Divided tank to try to breed

I am a clown

New member
I have a 90 gallon with 7 clowns, one pair is a 3.5 inch black and white female that was consistently laying eggs before I got her and her black and white 2" male partner..I like to breed them so I divided the tank with a plastic see through divider with holes for water movement and also 1" short on the top so water flows on the other half I have a assortment with 5 clowns, one I know is a female and I think I might have another one only one shows to be the boss some what but has not paired up yet so I am hoping that by keeping them separate I can get both to breed, she is sort of chocolate half her body along with a couple of juveniles..here is my questions..

1) I put a Atlantic anemone which the black female immediately made it her home but I think she rubbed on it to much or too hard and might have killed it, it's that possible?
2) realistically if I do breed them and have luck with it what would I expect to sell them as a pair for? ( the juveniles)
3) being that they are apart now will the other one pair up and eventually breed?

1)Look in the clownfish/anemone forum. I'm pretty sure they have a sticky over there for anemones compatible with clownfish.
2) heck if I know. Anywhere from half to the original price you bought the clowns for.
3)please explain further.
