Thank you. You mean the maximas? They were pretty much ubiquitous above 30ft or so where there is a rock to attach to. In the wild these clams only attach to rocks, and not on sand. I did not see giant clams (Tridacna gigas) which could be found sitting on sand.

On our way to the open sandy area to do our safety exercises, we crossed path with a regal angel.
This was an area right outside the lagoon where it meets the Pacific ocean on an ascending slope. The current was swaying back and forth and the floor was strewn with acros, but they are small. Due to depth, they are not that colorful. Nevertheless I was still very excited to see all the corals and fish as they hang out in the wild.
Lots of fish here. But you can also hear the parrot fish chowing down on the rocks and corals here like "snip snip".
