Wish I had been there to help, at least on the boat helping! some day I will have to see about getting dive certified!

just let me know when to "Come and get it" :--)

I have no idea how many trips you have to make to collect the stuff..... and I am sure you have a bunch of other orders that have been waiting for the boat and the weather to clear up.

I'm so jealous, cannot wait to get mine!
heck I am sooo wanting for tomorrow to get to the time when I get out of the office to go pick up my stuff!!!!
I think I will try using my web cam and the YouTube stream to un pack and show the tank live.... I will post tommrow when I do that but some time around 5:30pm eastern is when I think it will start.

Please do this, it'll be nice to get another youtube video. I saw a guy on youtube do a 4 part unboxing which was kinda neat.

I swear you people in FL have it made, all these awesome Reef Savvy tanks go for sale, you can get sweet live rock easily. My wife has some family over there, we need to make a visit.

getting ready....
Getting reaqdy to stream the second part of my tampabaysaltwater.com live rock for my 150 gallon reef tank. I will probably stop and start the stream a few times so hang with me for a while if you can. I just got home with a bunch of boxes to open. Up and I also need to do some prep work with getting my lights up and the top of the tank open and so on before I can really get to the main event.
Check this link in a few minutes and watch my reef get more critters and corals and whatever surprises are in The boxes

Man that's a lot of rock, any idea how many pounds you get? Is all of that rock new or did you already have some in the tank? It was kinda hard to hear you in the video a little static.

Yeah I wonder if rich slipped me an extra 100 of rock! the tank is a 150 so his package is 300 of rock half base rock half deco rock.
I am planning on moving some to my sump after I get a better look at it.
I have a full assortment of gorgonians, there are some anemones in the tank also.
and some hard coral that I will id and locate over the next few days.

Working on where to place things and what to mount to which rocks and all that but here are some pictures of what was in my part 2, at least he things that I can find right now as I am sure some things are hiding till they settle in.

Very nice!! Do you plan on feeding anything to maintain the sponges and other filter feeders?

working on that, got some stuff coming in and will be researching the right diet.
right now the rock and tank are well stocked with pods and stuff from the live rock. I also used some of the water from the first load 3 weeks ago.

there are nice anemone in the tank but I can only see one right now, I think there were 3 in the stuff I got but some may be in the rock work out of sight right now.... hoping I can get them to move to more visible locations but that is not easy, they do have a mind to move to where they like it not where we want them to be!

some of the gorgonians are like ones I used to have and I know they will thrive under almost any conditions but a couple of them are new to me and I have to see that I get them on the right track.
there are also some star coral and tube coral that I have to make sure I keep them happy and get them to grow for me.

I do not know I I got a picture up but one place I have some blue sponge that has a cool color.

Please let us know what you determine to be the best diet. I'm still researching that too. I don't want to feed anything for awhile because I imagine there will be a least some die off and don't want to add anything extra to the bio-load. Maybe Richard can chime in on the best feeding approach.

for sure the first few weeks nothing or a small / rare feeding.
before I added part 2 I did one time chop up a small fresh shrimp to give a bit of food to the hitchhikers but that was just a few days ago not in the first 10 days of part 1.
and I will be checking water tests for any spikes as things get settled in and see what shows up or goes missing.
