DIY 20L Sump Questions

First section will be 8", refugium will be 7" high, and return will fluctuate with evaporation. The 4th baffle isn't a water height baffle it just makes the water go down, I think you didn't see the gap he has under it crazyeyes.

So this setup above would still work? I can't believe how clueless I am with this. I appreciate all the help from you guys

Yes, as long as each section is lower than the last you can have different water hieghts if you want. Do you know what return pump you are running yet?

Yeah I have a tunze 1073.02 for the return.

This is how I had my 20L sump set up under my 40g breeder. I only had 3 long baffles at the tank over flow end then a small baffle at the other end with a piece of egg crate up against it. I originally used a piece of filter Floss against the eegg crate till I decided I no longer needed it. This set up worked great for me.

Thank you, that is what I thought it would look like. Someone on another forum convinced me otherwise, but I think they didn't see the gap under the second to last baffle.

Yeah I totally missed the gap under the forth baffle. I actually like that alot.
