Law, I love your 3D designs. They are spot on to your setup!

This isn't the place for this but your old little hammer is up to about twelve/sixteen heads and I had to cut the frogspawn because it was about 10" X 10" with only three full stalks.

thank man, its sorta spot on cept the rubber hoses, its a lot easier to draw solid pvc pipes than flexible hoses:p

man..you really have to take pictures of your coral man. i wanna see how your tank is doing and how ridiculous everything is growing for you.

i cant believe the frog spawn got so big with just 3 heads

thanks =)

started a new project. hopefully this work fairly well

skimmer is a big failure, i cant get the bubbles to foam, it just kind of bubbles away inside the reaction chamber and thats about it. could it be my reaction chamber is too small, and short?

anyways, given up on the skimmer idea right now. too tired to think about it, heres some new pics

Wow Law, looks like the tank has really turned around. Everything looks great. Get any cheto to live yet? HAHA.

Haha, that's so strange.
Hey, I have two tanks that are plumbed together with the same lighting. Things grow like crazy in one tank and they die in the other. Still makes no sense. I have changed everything one by one. I'm on my third different set of lighting, different substrate, pumps, everything. I even took the tank down, bleached it and set it back up. Still nothing lives. I'm just taking it down and putting turtles in it instead. So good luck with the cheto. Maybe you're just not destined to have it.

that is weird, why would a tank plumbed into the same system have different effects? one is packed with stuff, the other is a death city?

Where are you pulling air from? From the picture I don't see where the air would be entering the water flow. That could be the problem.

Lets see that little venturi valve now. It's pushing air into the skimmer cylinder correct? Did flow just get cut back too far with that new pink valve?

Hopefully it's something else but sounds like it's just not pulling enough air which you probably have figured out.

+1 Dan... more pics! This is one of my favorite threads in URS! :D

Disaster... are those the deepwater watermelon zoas? I picked some up locally and yours are the first I've seen that look similar! Crappy pic, but you get the idea. Nice!
