I found this stand pipe very helpful to keep the noise down in the Peninsula style tank and corner overflow box with Wave boxes.
Tool require:
Dremel with turbine bit and cutting blade
PVC cutter
hand Saws
Part require:
PVC pipe
End cap
and 3"x2" coupling
This is a 2" durso i build for my friend Hogall
1. you need cut a piece of PVC pipe with the length that need for your overflow box.
2. Use a hand saw to cut a figure C on your durso pipe (See picture)
3. Use the dremel to router out the lip on the coupling. (see picture)
4. Drill hole on your end cap (See picture)
5. Finish product
I am sorry for the lack of teaching skill (That is why i'm a Marine :lol
. The above durso is exactly like the CJ stand pipe which i used to paid $27 a piece plus tax, plus shipping while i can DIY for less than $10. I hope this period of instruction helps...
