DIY denitrator need help

I just finished making a denitrator, 4" by 2', using a maxi jet 1200 to feed, but because, of the 1/4" OD, I am getting a lot of pressure on the pump and it is making a lot of noise when I reduce the size of the output on the maxijet.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks.
Michael

try Tee'ing right after the mj1200 so you can control how much goes to the denitrator, and then put a ball valve on the open end of the Tee so you can create enough pressure to continue feeding the deintrator. Will aleviate a good deal of pressure, and with the denitrator only needing flow in drops/sec, you really don't need much going to it to keep a constant feed.

Good luck!
