DIY Dosing Pumps

I know a couple of you are big into diy controllers and leds. Here is a link to diy dosing pumps. Its all more than I understand but figure some of you might want to try:

Thanks Jeff, but did you check that link? I don't understand it either, but I don't think that's a dosing pump. Not sure what it is though...

Me either. No idea what he is trying to run there. But if you want a good DIY dosing pump, I think I have a link to one in my 75 rimless build thread. I have DIY dosing pumps. Doing it DIY saves about 20 bucks from just buying a BRS doser, so really not worth it anymore. IMHO.

Yeah, and with sellers like Marine Magic selling a triple head doser with independent auto and manual control and variable speed for $150 on ebay, which even gets pretty good reviews on RC, it is hard to justify pretty much any DIY doser.

Wow...I just looked at that on ebay. That is an incredible deal considering it also comes with the tube holders and everything else. My 2 BRS dosers I bought on sale last year cost as much as that entire thing (and I think they normally sell them for 99 bucks or somewhere around there).

I was going to place on order for a double dosing pump from marine magic, but they stopped carrying them. I emailed the seller and he notified me that they currently are working on a new version that can be vertically mounted and expect it to ship mid December.
