So what are you guys doing?

I have a bm-t01 that i just started dosing BRS 2 part with and i need a good way to hold the tubes in my sump.

My alk tube was hanging more horizontal then vertical and started to get clogged up so now its time to make something.....

While i really like that holder i was looking for cheap and quick.

So, I broke out the scrap acrylic, torch, and drill and came up with this masterpiece.

Might be better suited for the ghetto thread but it works

Know this is a bit old topic, but thought I'd share. Even easier clamp - get out some scrap pvc pipe, smaller diameter (1 1/4") works really well. Cut a 1" long piece, then cut through the pipe on one side along the entire one inch length. Now you have a very strong tension clamp. Drill two holes on one side of the slit a tiny fraction smaller than the tubing diameter you're using, then slightly elongate the holes. Voila - free, easy to make, strong, sturdy tubing clamps that you can make in 3 minutes flat.

These might be 1.5" pvc, but you get the idea... Work well on rimless and sump baffles, probably not that well on rimmed tanks.

I'm stealing this as well. Brilliant!

They should work fine on a rimmed tank/sump, just need to make the slit wife enough to slide over the rim.

I did something similar with an led light fixture on a 29g long for a frag swap. I need a way to suspend it above the tank, yet easy enough to take with me when needed, so used pvc T's and slit them to fit onto the rim, 2 pipes straight up, 2 elbows and a length of pipe across. Worked out great, easily portable.
