Alright I have a question about making my own frag plugs. Basically my parents own their own ceramic company and have all the kilns and what not. So I have them just make me some tester. I had them make flat squares that are 1/2"x1/2". I just put them in a glass of RO/DI water and I noticed they started to have little air bubbles come out of them. I have not tested the water for anything before I did this or since I have done this. After about 15 mins the bubbles stopped. Should I use a special type of ceramic or is this just because they have no paint or sealer in them. They are basically just clay (slip, ceramic, whatever it is called)?
