I will try to put together a step by step guide with photos
LOL!!
We should have separate threads for those with decreasing amount of power tools. I'd like to see what the guys with a hacksaw and a cordless drill come up with. And if you really want to impress me with your design prowess, show me what the guysââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢
brother can do with only a hacksaw and a cordless drill! Then weââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢ll acid test it with my brother. If he can build it, then even
girls should be able to manage it.
"For those of you without a Knuth Supra 550 lathe, you can substitute . . ."
You know what's surprisingly hard to find in my town? Acrylic solvent. Gotta drive an hour north to buy it, pretty close to where I need to get my $1 (US) props to. Sure spending $10 in fuel to buy $1 worth of propeller makes sense! LOL! Seen what shipping it like these days?
(sigh) There used to be a day when a guy could work on his car with nothing but a screwdriver and a strobe light. No, I
didn't screw up my parents car. That took my brothers friend who said "Replacing lifters is easy". Followed a long time later by "Uh oh". :eek1:
PS - This is all in fun. If anyone has taken offense, take a breath tell yourself: 'I am taking this way too seriously. Sure I blew like $40 on the powerhead disaster, but that guys parents dropped serious coin towing the car to a real mechanic to get running again.'
