DIY media SOCK??

Hi!

I'd like to use various filtration media and was thinking if there is some net/sock I could use instead the pricey bags sold from companies like seachem

I dont really think they are that expensive but when adding the post costs I think the price is at least ridiculous!

So any ideas?

I just recently picked up a small jar of GFO, Pura Phoslock, and it came with a pretty good size sock in it. That might be one route to go.
for smaller, maybe a sunglasses pouch? not sure how fine the weave is to let water through, but so long as it is synthetic material it should be okay.

I use knee-high pantyhose for filter socks. Around .69 for a pair at Walmart!
