DIY Moonlights

Just wondering how many of you actually use these? I used to have some on my 55 when it was FW but never added them to the SW. I had ordered all of the parts from somewhere online but have now forgotten it. Any ideas on the things I would need to make this happen cough Steve cough!!!

Sounds like a great next 'DIY class'. I fully intend to build my own moonlights for my new 120 and a class or group project doing this would be great. Besides, a group buy of LEDs would definitely save on shipping.

I've done it before on freshwater systems. I found that automotive lights worked the best and are easy as they're 12 volt. I think I picked up the sets from dealextreme.com iirc.
